Our expereince tells us that diets don't work in the long term, changing your attitude to food and understanding why you eat and the triggers that set you off is the way forward.

 

We will be looking at and exploring the following

 

Goal setting and motivational strategies

What is hunger? And why do we eat?

Healthy plate and portion sizes what does that mean?

Friends and family, help or hindrance?

Understanding proteins/carbohydrates/fat

Food labelling and understanding the jargon

Why do we put weight on?

Why does it take so long to get weight off?

Long term strategies for staying fit and healthy

 

There will be plenty of time to talk and explore the difficulties that we all encounter on a day to day basis and to take away some strategies to help you build your own toolkit over the weeks.
